Install a Cabin Air Filter in the Chevy Trailblazer or GMC Envoy
Recently found out online that the Chevy Trailblazer and GMC Envoy have
provisions to install a Cabin Air Filter, but it appears GM never did. On
this afternoon I was going to do this simple modification when I decided
I'd shoot a quick video at the same time showing the process. It's pretty
straight forward in the early year models but does require some slight
fabrication to open up the slot for the filter. Total modification cost is
the price of the filter used (or any modification costs), and takes less
time than this video explaining it.
Trailblazer with a G35 muffler
Did not like the stock sound of my TB. Straight pipe after cat in to 04 G35
muffler @ back of truck. Sounds more like older BMW to me. Only care about
look of pipe and sound. No change in power or fuel eco. No SEL either.
The floor would vibrate at certain speed, so I put the stock muffler back
on with G35 muffler. You can hear the Exhaust and it's different that stock.
Trailblazer water pump replacement
A big black fagg show people how he replace his water pump on a
Trailblazer. I maybe wrong when I said that hole cut n the fan cover did
not make a difference. My engine ran a little warm doing the summer. I did
not think about at the time. Guess I will fill n that hole this year.

Trailblazer liftgate struts replacement
Replacing the liftgate struts in a Trailblazer. This also applies to the
other members of the gmt360/370 family, including the envoy, bravada,
ascender, rainier, and that saab thing.
Be safe, have an assistant hold the liftgate while doing this. I've seen
some people get hurt pretty good when the liftgate kicks when one of the
struts are removed. I know I did exactly the opposite of what I'm saying
but I am aware of the risks and possible consequences.
