Gulf Racing Porsche 917K Flat-12 Engine SOUND
Another historic car, which was present at the 2012 Concorso d'Eleganza, is the 1970 Porsche 917K. Disappointed by the poor results of the 917 in 1969, Porsche decided to find a solution that could have improved the car for the next 1970 racing season. The answer was to "cut the tail" of the car. So they put in the name of the car the letter "K", in order to underline the distinctive feature of the new 917 ( K stay for "kurzheck" which means "short"). The car was been equipped with a new 4.9 liters flat-12 engine (the previous was 4.5 liters) which permitted the car to reach a power of about 600 - 620 bhp and a top speed of 390 km/h (240 mph). This video is about a fantastic Ford GT40 with Gulf Racing livery. I filmed this car during a revival race of the historic 1000 kms of Monza race. The car is powered by a 4.9 V8 engine with a power of 425 bhp and a max torque of 540 Nm. Top speed is about 340 km/h (211 mph). 1956 Jaguar D-Type Start & Revs SOUND
The car in the video is a Jaguar D-type. It was produced by Jaguar between 1954 and 1957 in order to race the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car was able to win the race in 1955, 1956 and 1957. The car is moved by a 3.4 straight-6 engine which can produce 270 bhp @ 6000 rpm. The car reach a top speed of 280 km/h (175 mph). I saw this D-Type during the 2012 Concorso d'Eleganza of Cernobbio. You can see some details of the car and the engine and then you can hear the sound of the car. Formula 1 (F1) V10 PURE SOUND - 2012 Boss GP Monza
Here you are a video about how I, and I think many of you too, consider a real F1 should sound like. I filmed two "old" Formula 1 cars powered by a V10 engine during the Monza round of the 2012 Boss GP Championship. The two cars are a 2004 Jaguar R5 (Cosworth 3.0 V10 engine) and a 2001 Arrows A22 (Hart 3.0 V10 engine). In the video there's also a very fast scene in which you can see a 1994 Tyrrell 022 (Judd 3.5 V10 engine). I really think that V10 Formula 1 cars are the best F1 ever made, not just for their melodic sound, but because they are the maximum expression of speed and performance. Now we are just looking to make the cars faster in particular with the obsessive aerodynamic improvement. What I can say about the sound: well, it's simply astonishing, the car seems to scream more and more and you can really feel it when the car is coming in full throttle. Jaguar E-Type Restoration - 2 1/2 years in 8 minutes
Restoration video of a Series II Jaguar E-Type. The restoration took two and a half years, thousands of hours of labor, and much, much more $$. The Jag was last licensed in 1983 and spent the last 15 years outside with a deteriorated car cover. This was a nut and bolt restoration. Everything was rebuilt or replaced. Every motor, caliper, assembly, etc. was dissassembled and rebuilt.

Ferrari 599XX in Action! Very Loud Sound!
!!!BE SURE TO TURN UP YOUR SPEAKERS AND ENJOY THE VIDEO!!! I recorded alot of Ferrari 599XX at Spa Francorchamps during this Ferrari event. Never seen so much of the 599XX together. There were 12 599XX present, and that is alot!! Also a yellow one, but this one didn't drive this session. You hear the amazing sound of those cars and the downshifts (very loud!!). I have filmed also the line up and when they leave in the pitlane and more! There were also some more cars present, like the Ferrari FXX and alot of Formula One cars!!
