1956 Chevy Bel Air Nomad YelGrn
The 1955 to 1957 Nomads are icons of the era! Certainly part show car, part useful wagon, part practical family hauler! This one has air conditioning...1956 was the first year for that in Chevy! The surf board and the hula dancer on the dash are so period correct!
1956 Ford Sunliner Convertible CoralWht TheVillages122014
A beautiful and dramatic color combination, but not unusual at the time because Ford seemed to have an endless palate of cool colors! The car marked the beginning of an awareness of safety equipment at Ford. Too bad it wasn't more poplar...but it was an extra...I think safety equipment has to be part of the regular equipment of the car to become popular. At the time, people didn't seem to want to pay extra for it! 1961 Ford Starliner Blu
I've always liked the lines of the Starliner...only made in 1960 and 1961. The roof has a graceful sweep to the rear...very fashionable! This has the 390 c.i. engine..notice the spotless engine bay and the nice touch of chrome! If you have to have a Ford hardtop, this is one of the best, in my opinion!
1956 Ford Fairlane Sunliner RedWhtlivrSpr010712
This model has always been a favorite of mine! Nice red and white exterior..the interior is very nice..but seems to me not to match the exterior...not sure what the reason for that might be..a repaint or reupholstery, perhaps. Overall, a very nice car!
