What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Tahoe: It used to be one of
the best selling segments in America in the 90's and early 2000's, the Full
Size SUV segment. However, with rising gas prices and a need for more fuel
efficient cars this segment has been forgotten especially with full size
crossovers snatching there sales due to there more practical package, For
2015 the Tahoe looks to get fully redesigned that was much needed to keep
on with technology and styling elements that other vehicles have today as
it was getting behind the times in those key areas. Under the hood you will
find the star of the show that is still convincing some people to buy a
full size SUV over a crossover which is a very promising 5.3 L V8 that's
extremely potent and hauls anything in the back without comprise with
delivering better fuel economy this time around. On the inside you will
find everything to be rich in materials and textures that was much needed
since you are spending a boat load of money. Also many new standard
features come this time around including a backup camera and bluetooth
streaming audio. Even the base trim LS feels quite luxurious inside with
nice stitching on the dashboard. Room inside is quite good and the second
row can even get luxury features such as Captains Chairs and heated seats.
The 2015 Tahoe is quite a good full size SUV and is for sure the best in
the segment right now when it comes to a all conquering body on frame SUV
with great towing capabilities, however take out the engine and the towing
capacity, other full size crossovers deserve consideration.
