Hyundai Coupe Review - With Richard Hammond (2002)
Richard Hammond takes to the road in a Hyundai Coupe and reviews its
performance, practicality, and style. Its 2.7 litre V6 engine produces 165
BHP and averages 27.2 MPG- furthermore, it does 0-60 in 8.2 seconds and has
a top speed of 136 MPH.

The gearlever, in this case being an automatic transmission, sports the
familiar all-black gearknob which is also seen on the new Santa Fe. The
steering wheel with its silver accent is clearly inspired from the larger
SUV as well. Media reports highlight that the ix25 could receive a 4WD
option on higher-spec trims.
After taking a closer look, its easy to see that the interiors of the ix25
are inspired by the new Santa Fe. The center console is dominated by
vertically designed AC vents featuring silver accents, while sitting in
between these vents is a music system. Controls for the fully automatic air
conditioning system are positioned below the music system.
Tiburon GT V6 K&N Cold Air Intake & Custom Exhaust Vids & Pics
This Video was taken the day after i had my Exhaust in my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT Re-Piped
to 2.5" to a 2" Split to each sotck muffler. I also had the 3rd Cat and the
resonator cut out and straight piped it. There are under car pic's at the
end of the video. This video also features my first mod; a K&N Cold Air
intake which is also pictured. Please let me know what you think!
Supercharged Tiburon GT - Exhaust cutout Exhaust cutout installed on my
supercharged Hyundai Tiburon GT.
Some will call this "ricer", but i personnaly have a lot of fun with that
mod. I love to be able to switch so easily between a "normal" sound an a
"rally car" sound. Don't ask if performance is better when cutout is
opened, i haven't Dynoed it yet ; it may be, but
not by much, considering the welding shop replaced more of the piping than
planned so it's 2.5" until it splits to the Evofusion dual 2".
5 years ago, i had bought a Evofusion catback. It was ok for NA mods, but
i'm now supercharged, and i'm about to install an even bigger MP90 Supercharger, so that tiny 2.25" catback was
becoming a problem. But i loved its sound and the looks of its tips. So i
had most of the catback replaced by some 2.5" piping, except for the rear
that remained the original Evofusion. I had the Exhaust cutout placed between the 2.5 and the
2.25" section (i had first tried it just after the headers and the sound
was totally unbearable). My objective was to keep a bearable sound when
cutout was opened, thanks to the resonator. But the Magnaflow muffler 10436
muffler proved not to be enough to reduce sound, even with closed cutout,
so i deleted the Hurricane high flow cat and replaced it with a Vibrant
1141 resonator which did quite a good job to bring sound to a more decent
level. The final result, when cutout is closed, is a deeper and a bit
louder sound than with the unmodified Evofusion Exhaust, and a very agressive rally sound when
cutout is opened.
