I pull the trusty pocketcam out just as the first few drops of rain fall on Wehrseifen. An E46 driver loses control on the entry to the corner, and ends up rolling all the way around. Race was the VLN #2 of 2012 and this was only the second lap of a four-hour event!

Championships are awarded each season for drivers and teams. The FIA GT1 World Championship has started in 2010 as a successor to the previous FIA GT Championship which featured the GT1 category as well as a GT2 category. In 2012 the series originally planned to move away from exclusive use of GT1 cars by allowing 2009-spec GT2 from the former FIA GT Championship as well as current performance balanced GT3 specification cars to compete alongside the series' current GT1 cars. Sabine Schmitz GT3 RS Passenger Lap - Ring Taxi
As part of a Gentleman Drivers Club (http://www.gentlemandriversclub.com/) event at the Nordschleife club members had passenger laps with Sabine Schmitz. On this lap Sabine loses it at high speed through the Pflanzgarten while taking a slick line (she was on road tyres). I got bored with all the "super car crashes"-videos here on YouTube that only contained PICTURES, CRAPPY MUSIC or/and clips of pure racing cars on official racing events. This compilation DOES NOT include pure racing cars on official racing events - only real life FAILures on the STREETS, made by people with more money than driving skills... (Though, even the best car drivers can crash too of course.)
