A Pontiac 400 bored .030" over so now a 406 with comp cams extreme energy hydraulic cam and lifters, roller timing chain and roller rockers. Lightened and balanced Scat crank. Ignition upgraded to MSD HEI with Accel 8.8 mm sprial core wires. 6X-4 heads ported and port matched to ported factory dual plane intake manifold. Factory 750 CFM Quadrajet reworked by Cliff Ruggles performance.

Pontiac 400 first start up
First start up of my bored out 400 from 1979 trans am. Now a 406 with comp

Pontiac 400 final dyno pull
Engine built and Dyno'd by Al at New Generation
Racing Engines of Fenwick ON. Anyone in Ontario that needs work would be

A Pontiac 400 bored .030" over so now a 406 with comp cams extreme energy
hydraulic cam and lifters, roller timing chain and roller rockers.
Lightened and balanced Scat crank. Ignition upgraded to MSD HEI with Accel

Engine detail work
getting the motor all cleaned and freshened up before I get the car
primed/painted. I used the VHT 3000 degree header paint on the heads so it
won't cook off like the 500 degree pontiac blue. Once again, its just a
pontiac 350 studded 2 bolt mains, bored .060 over, forged KB pistons,
I-beam rods, Edelbrock performer cam. (.480/.480) 290 degree duration.
Q-Jet 800 cfm carb, 6X-4 heads, W-72 intake from a 400, all ARP bolts
holding it together internally.
1970 Pontiac Grand Prix 400 Model J Engine Bog
My 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix runs, but hesitates (bogs) on quick
acceleration. When accelerating slowly this problem does not occur, only
when doing so quickly. It has new high quality Bosch spark plugs, and a
replacement carburetor (Rochester 4 barrel quadrajet), everything else is
stock. It is running on premium fuel with lead substitute. If anyone knows
what I can do to fix the bog, please comment or message me, thanks.

We removed the hood, mounted a camera looking down on the air horn, and
took it for a spin, running wide open on an uphill grade. See how the
secondary air valve responds to rpm drop at each upshift of the THM. Also
included is a smoking burnout.

custom ground by Delta Cams Tacoma WA. Edelbrock heads ported with ferrea
6000 series stainless steel valves, comp cams 995-16 springs. Rocker stud
girdles. Stainless steel rocker arms.
