Sick Ride!
2005 bagged out Chevy colorado. I read a few of your comments and i thought id give u guys a lil better description. So here it goes; FBSS layin frame on 22" milanni kool whips. The suspension is sittin on 2600s in the front and 2800s in the rear, all 450psi slam specialities HE series. Im runnin 1/2" airline through GC 450 extreame valves at 200psi with 2 viair 480c compressors on a 7 gallon tank. Its got tubular upper and lower control arms with 2" drop ball joints in the front. In the back, a monster tringulated four link with super pivots and its bagged on the bars. Hence the 2ft of lift in the back. The rearend has been cut dwn about 2" to get it to tuck the 2s. I built this in my dads garage with a grinder, a saw zaw, and a welder. Special thanx to my boys that put in the long hrs wid me. I love lowriders so if u got any questions email me lowlife1038@yahoo.com. I appreciate the comments and i kno haters gonna hate. Its ok u can hate on me:)

2004 Chevy Colorado Sport 1/4 Mile Run -- Flowmaster Super 40 -- Burning Rubber
Here is a quarter mile run in my modded Chevy Colorado with the 5 cylinder. Its running a single Exhaust catback with Flowmaster Super 40 muffler and a cold air intake. I ran a best of 15.1 @ 89 mph that night. Other tricks were dropping the air pressure in the rear tires (axle hop on Colorado's are terrible) and pulling about 200 lbs of crap out of the truck (spare tire, jack, sound insulation, interior bits and installing a lighter aftermarket hood). I was a little disappointed that I never got it into the 14s. My truck was a black regular cab (the lightest Colorado you can get). I don't think Chevy allows you to order the I-5 engine on base regular cabs any more. That Aisin 5 speed manual was the best I've ever experienced in a truck (and it was the same manual used in the Solstice /Sky). Overall it was a fun truck, but I have since traded it in on something much faster. I do miss that unique, raspy 5 cylinder growl when I had it wide open, though.

Not your everyday Chevy Colorado teeruk!!!!!
This video is of a Chevy colorado pickup truck I saw north of Rapid River, Michigan while driving home from Escanaba. This is not your "run of the mill" Chevy Colorado. The owner of this truck put WIDE high performance tires (like those on a corvette or Mustang) on his truck. He also put dual Exhausts and glasspacks on that thing too. You couldnt hear it in the video....but that truck had an inline 5 cylinder engine and it sounded like a gas powered "weedwhipper" on steroids instead of a pickup truck. Gotta tell you.....I haven't seen a Chevy colorado like this before!!!!
