Barn Find 1968 Euro Beetle, First Start.
This is her first attempted startup in 21 years! Of course before I tried
it, I poured Marvel Mystery Oil in the upper cylinders, filed and gapped
the points, rebuilt the carburetor, and replaced the fuel pump, plugs, and
Still it impressed me that it fired up after all those years of sitting.
Pulled this old bug from a barn in rural Oklahoma, where it sat unmoved for
over two decades. You just can't kill these old VWs.
Thanks for watching.

1965 VW Bug Convertable Barn Find, Long Island , NY May 2010
1965 VW Bug Convertible, original sitting from 78
I have the task of selling a German purchased 1965 Bug convertible badged
at rockers "Karmen" (possibly a European VW badge) for a little old lady,
(original owner). Putting feelers out for price and advanced sale
looking for fast sale at fair price and sell a 1965 VW Bug convertible.
This VW sitting from 1978 inside a garage is in original condition. 81K
showing (probably kilometers). Car is complete, original condition. We have
papers and clear title.
This Bug has issues as any car would from sitting all the years. It is
what it is, luckily in this case.Convertible!!
The top actually looks good, because the sun did not get to it.
There is surface rust on many panels and well as completely rusted thru the
floor, bottom edges of doors, door jambs.
The motor is currently not running, although the owner tells me it was
running when stored. The owner says at that point the motor needed a ring
job as it was burning a little oil.
The car is European, was purchased in West Germany and driven for a few
years around Europe, then shipped to Pittsburg PA, driven there and finally
ended up in a Port Washington garage in 1978; the registration and
inspection stickers are on the windshield from that year.
You motor heads, feel free to email me firstname.lastname@example.org or call
Am hoping that the YouTube video of this car will filter and screen all the
chaff from the wheat. When prospective buyers see the car, all needs to be
done is exchange cash and sign the ownership over. Take a good luck and
make your best offer.
Of course all sales are no warranty expressed or implied at all. Sale is
This VW is sold as is, not running.

Agent for original owner (little old lady) Dino 516-365-9845 ( dont be
intimidated, just the little old lady is overwhelmed with the situation of
the rusted old memories sitting in her garage under the pile of stuff and
asked me to help her sell it. )

this great barn find - a 1971 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible sold by Sunset
This cute little Ghia has lived in a barn for the past 24 years! It is
happy to be in my garage with other good VW company, but I already have a
yellow Ghia Convertible so this one is up for sale. The long-time owner
said he took the car out every year to keep things fresh. When I looked at
the car he admitted it had been 3 years since it had been driven. The barn
was on a dirt road way out in the Minnesota prairie. It was a fun find.
Convertible Karmann Ghias are definitely one of my favorite barn finds for
a classic car.
Enjoy the video and then take a look at the link above for the full
description as well as 2 photo galleries of this fun classic Karmann Ghia.
Thanks for watching, please give her a thumbs up if you like her and
