canyon carver with a Hotchkis Total Vehicle System suspension install. This
system is available for all GM A-Body muscle cars and can be installed with
hand tools in a weekend.
1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport - Test drive
I pick out this 72 Lemans for a friend of mine in Norway. He wanted to take
a 3 week American Holiday Cruise with his family in California, Nevada and
Arizona.. I had less than a month to find a decent "collector car" that
would not fail him out on this vacation drive in June. I found this car
that had been pretty well cared for and freshened up by the ASE Certified
Mechanic owner. The Pontiac 350 has been replaced with a Chevy 350. It has
headers, Flowmaster Exhaust, recent
interior, vinyl top and all new weatherstrips. It did GREAT on the tour!
Now it is For Sale, but if not sold will be shipped to my guy in Norway. If
you are interested in buying the car for 8500, hurry-- If it is to be
shipped over, I need to do it in the next couple months.

Most Bizarre Car - Pontiac Farago CF 428 Concept car
Chris Ashworth records the Pontiac Farago Concept. The Pontiac Farago CF
428 was a styling exercise for the Pontiac Grand Prix in 1969. It was
designed by Paul Farago with some coachwork by Coggiola. CF stands for
Coggiola-Farago. The car has a 428 cid V8 engine.

Pontiacs for 1964
John DeLorean replaced Pete Estes as general manager, and he continued the
same emphasis on performance that Bunkie Knudsen and Estes had begun.
The big news for 1964 For 1964, the Tempest and LeMans' transaxle design
was dropped and the cars were redesigned under GM's new A body platform;
frame cars with a conventional front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. The
most important of these is the GTO, short for "Gran Turismo Omologato," the
Italian for "Grand Touring, Homologated" used by Ferrari as a badge to
announce a car's official qualification for racing. In spite of a GM
unwritten edict against engines larger than 330 ci in intermediate cars,
DeLorean (with support from Jim Wangers from Pontiac's ad agency), came up
with the idea to offer the GTO as a dealer option package that included a
389 ci engine rated at 325 or 348 horsepower (260 kW).
