Isuzu UK and leading rally sponsor Jewson came together to host a fantastic day out for Jewson’s loyal customers. As prospective Isuzu D-Max buyers, the outdoor event at Grange Farm gave customers the opportunity to get to know the D-Max through an assortment of activities. The first activity of the day kicked off with a challenging off-road course. It consisted of bumps, steep inclines, descents, water, rough terrains and plenty more obstacles in attempt to stop the D-Max in its tracks. Visitors embraced the opportunity to get a feel for how the D-Max handled off-road. Next on the activity schedule was the Trailer Dynamics and Manoeuvring course. Jewson’s customers got behind the wheel of a D-Max to put its 3.5-tonne towing capacity to the test, as well as the manoeuvring capability of the D-Max. Jason Sharpe, Isuzu’s professional rally driver, brought along the legendary Isuzu D-Max rally truck and the newest rally machine, The Fury. He took visitors out in the trucks for an exhilarating, fast-paced drive that definitely got some hearts racing. The Jewson Isuzu D-Maxperience Day was a resounding success as visitors had an amazing day out and the D-Max proved its fantastic reputation to potential future buyers.
Isuzu BCCC Round 3 Forrest Estate - Teaser
Get a taste of the off-road action from round 3 of the BCCC that took place in the depths of Forrest Estate. Once again Jason Sharpe was behind the wheel of the indestructible D-Max pick-up truck, with co-driver Richard Lester by his side. Isuzu’s rally veteran Jason was grinning ear to ear as Forrest Estate provided a fantastic course which was right up his street. Fast, flowing tracks combined with only a few rough patches meant Jason could really have some fun in the D-Max and put his foot to the floor. With an abundance of blind crests thrown into the mix, Richard’s co-driving skills were going to be put to the test making him slightly anxious. Jason had to control the D-Max through one particular section of the course containing a remarkable drop. The D-Max was launched up over a blind crest, then plummeted back down to earth with a sudden drop into a pool of muddy water, stunning the duo. Yet again the imperishable D-Max made it to the end of the event!
