408 Mustang Road Test (5-105 mph) No Traction!
First time testing the Mustang with the new 408 engine. Wasn't fully prepared for the signifigant loss of traction even with the drag radials. Took to the track later that week and ran the following... 60' - 1.604 1/8 - 6.970 MPH - 99.61 1/4 - 10.942 MPH - 122.22 This was using only the footbrake. With the trans brake and some better traction it should dip in the mid 10's. Put &fmt=18 at the end of the URL to see it in High Def.

Just wanted to follow up and do a side by side of sorts to the video I made with the 306. Same headers, X-pipe, and Spintech mufflers. As you can see the Q-16 fuel is already starting to take it's toll on the Mufflers. That's a rust cloud when it fires.

upped the shot to 225 which i ran my previous best with the c-4 9.52 at 141 Ran 9.41 at 145 on this pass my fastest pass to date with a tko600 i still run full interior power steering and full Exhaust. the car weights 3250 with me in it. I drive the car everywhere on the street.
