This car 4 days before the video was taken was in a backyard in Arizona for 30 years. It was for sale on CRAIGSLIST!!!! and this guy bought it, fresh gas and showed up at the cruise in Scottsdale, AZ off of Indian Head Rd. 1961 Ford Starliner that someone had stuffed in a 427 cammer motor. Open headers, sounds even better in person.

Just a quick update on the car.For the most part finished, just a couple
little things.Heres a walk around and a bit of a Test drive. This actually
is the first time Ive driven it down the road.Weather and Holidays so,
Merry X-Mas to me. It was awesome so far no issues exept those Pie crust
slicks just spin all the time. Barely get on the throttle and they spin.
AWESOME Perfect street car other than I think i just went through 2 gallons
of Fuel to do this Video.

Ford Galaxie on the Dyno. Car competes in Historic
Touring Car races around Australia in Group Nc. Lex Davison and Sir Gawaine
Baillie were among a few people to race these cars back in the Australian
Touring Car Championship back in 1964. Most well known were the Sandown
races where the Galaxie had lapped the whole field after just 5 laps!
SOHC Shelby Cobra
A friend has a Shelby Cobra with a SOHC 427 FE Ford in it. After a little
shop work, we went for a ride. I took a few videos and spliced them
together into this.

That's 1.65 HP per cubic inch and 1.37 TQ per cube from a vintage style
Billet 4.375 stroke steel crankshaft. Billet 6.700 Oliver rods. Iron
4.375 bore Genesis block. Highly modified Coon Cammer heads with raised
ports that flow 456 cfm. Highly modified Dove single plane intake with
sideways mounted Quick Fuel 850 carbs. Billet .705 lift cams. Prototype
T&D roocker system. Compression is 11.5:1 with custom Diamond pistons,
skirt coating and an .043-.043-3.0mm ring package. Crank trigger ignition
with custom "T" handle MSD wires. Billet rail Moroso mid-sump oil pan.
Meziere water pump.
