Wheelers Dealers Live at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2011
Mike Brewer and Edd China kindly showed a clip from our parody movie (on YouTube) in which we clean up a pedal car and spoof them on their TV show Wheeler Dealers. They saw the funny side and loved it. Here is a short clip of them talking about it at the Motor Show and showing the start. My XR3s (both of them) were shown on the clip broadcast too.
We met them, got our picture taken, got their autographs too. The kids were over the moon. Great day out. We also met Paul, Imogen and Michelle.

Wheelers Dealers Shuffle - the main title parody
Mike Brewer and Edd China loved our parody of their Wheeler Dealer show, so we thought we'd make this new title for them. When we met them at the NEC Motor Show we bought one of Mike's masks, so we've put it to good use.

NEC Classic Motor Show 2011 Highlights (for me)
A few of my favourite cars at the show including Bugatti Veyron, Santa Pod Fireforce, Golf GTI Mk1, Escort Mk3 XR3, Scort, Cortina, Jeep, Corvette C2 and C3, Datsun, MX5, Mini Moke, Morris Minor, Traction Engine, RS1700T Escort.

NEC Classic Motor Show 100 Years of Ford 2011
Quadricycle to a modern day Fiesta. 100 years of Ford at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2011. Cortina, Capri, Anglia, Escort, Fiesta, Zodiac, all are here and more.
You will see a lot of XRs featured here. Various versions of each type represented. Also an RS1700T, one of only 18 made and capable of great acceleration. Old and new, some needing some care and attention. All interesting. A massive display from Ford and Ford owners this year.

NEC Classic Car Show 2011
My car club, The Austin Maxi OC, were setting up its stand and I had a few moments to take to a classic Moulton bicycle with my camcorder in hand. A bit shaky to start with and many of the clubs hadn't even turned up yet alone start erecting their stands. The theme for the show was "Family". The Austin Maxi OC did Picnic, Christmas and Camping using a Caranex which was originally designed to fit the Austin Maxi but now fits most vehicles.
(I should note here that this is just one Hall..... and not the "Posh" one!)

MAXI OWNERS' CLUB STAND N.E.C CLASSIC CAR SHOW 2011
My car club, (the Austin Maxi OC) were invited, yet again, to attend the N.E.C. Classic car show. The theme was "family" so we dressed our three cars for a Teddy Bears' picnic, camping and Christmas.
