Before the Superchip I was doing 14.4 at 103mph, after the Superchip I did 13.8 at 106mph. For each test I did 3 runs and took an average. In less than 15 minutes and a few hundred bucks, you can add 30 horsepower or more depending on the model year of your Ford Mustang. My Mustang is an upgraded 1999 GT and I had my Superchip custom programmed for all the modifications that I made to my car. The Superchips unit plugs right into the back of the stock car computer ECU (engine control unit). *Don't forget to disconnect your car battery for 10 minutes during this upgrade; this will allow the car computer to recalibrate itself. You know that you have done a proper job resetting your computer if when you start your car, you notice that all the gauge needles sweep to the left then back. Then I threw another 5K of upgrades at the point this video (May 14th 2000) was taken and HELLO Haters :) Don't be Jealous, these are just the outtakes from a long day of frying tires, because I had a new set of wheels and tires just waiting for me at home. And yes, the clutch was overheating after a long day. at 0:49 clutch didn't let go = frying, 0:53 more clutch frying, 1:02 traction control was on, and finally at 1:12 first real burnout, and 1:21 second real burnout. A '93 VW Golf you don't wanna race...
My boy Rob's insanely fast four door '93 VW Golf. A turbocharger VR-6 (and tons of supporting mods) provided the motivation for the drivetrain. Understated and overbuilt, this sleeper was reknown in the local area and won Rob more than a few bucks at street races. The passenger in this video, a writer for a car magazine, flew from Florida to Maryland to talk to Rob, write an article about his ride, and take an adrenaline soaked ride in this "grocery getter". The lesson here, kids: Less flash, more cash (just don't crash).

Read below for car descriptions! This is a short documentary I made for a class. Using mostly my own found footage, I give a commentary on "Sleepers" and my own personal experiences with them. This video was intended to tell a story and be mildly entertaining/funny. No one in this film thinks they drive the fastest car on the planet. We are all aware of our limitations. Try to enjoy it :) I'm getting messaged like crazy to reveal the mod lists for my cars. This is a bit difficult to do for the Regal since it almost never had the same setup on it for more than a few weeks! Anyway I'll try my best! Z34 - Intake and chip. Stock at the time of the Iroc-Z race. SHO - SHO SHOp catless Ypipe (That's it!!!) (Stock during most of the Races in this Video) vs tuned turbo Cobalt at the Track. Regal: Headers, mild cam, pulley, tune and intake Vs stock G8. Regal: same mods as above 11.9 @ 112 in the 1/4 on slicks with some c16 race gas mixed in, m90 blower (stock) Vs full bolt on, gears, tuned 2011 Mustang v6. Regal: TVS swap with stock TVS pulley. 7psi of Boost. vs full bolt on, 3.55 gears, tuned 1998 Cobra. Regal: same setup as vs the 2011 v6 Vs 330whp low 12 second Vortech supercharged 2002 Mustang GT. Regal: TVS swap + 2.8'' pulley (14psi) and ethanol. 374whp with same mods as vs the blown GT As always the Regal had stock heads and never had an Intercooler! Thanks for all the comments!
