Vintage Racing - 1950s Indy Cars startup and race. LOUD!!!
Chris Ashworth records a series of 1950s Indy Cars at Michigan
International Speedway. This was a vintage racing event that was associated
with the Concours d'elegance of America, where these cars were on display
after this event.
This event was incredible! I got to wander in the pits and the garage area.
You will hear these cars starting up right from the tailpipes, and you will
see them driving on the track from the pits.

Gardner Douglas T70 on the Nordschleife Nurburgring.
One very fast lap in a Gardner Douglas T70. Car is a real british jewel,
handmade by www.gdcars.com. This one has a modified Corvette Z06 engine,
with about 720 hp for 920 kilos of dry weight. Such a shame we had just
finished to running in the engine and left the rpm limiter at 6500 rpm, you
can here the car hitting the limiter on the main straight at about 300
kms/h. Driver is the notorious "deaddwarf" Dario Margutti, from
www.mythoscars.com. Racing suites by lorddamon.com.
Classics Revealed: The Shelby Cobra

iconic and thus copied car. Less than 1000 original Ford AC Cobras were
built by Carroll Shelby. Tens of Thousands of copies of the original 289
and 427 AC Cobras exist with most of them being "kit cars" copies. In this

what many call "Continuation Cars". These are brand new Shelby Cobra

of course not the original series of Shelby Cobra cars which now demand
hundreds of thousands of dollars by collectors when they do come up for
sale , but they are also not copies. They are simply new Shelby Cobras
built as a continuation of the original series of cars. In other words,
these are new Shelby Cobras. If you are a fan of Carroll Shelby and his
cars you'll like this video as we get deep into the history of what many
believe is America's most beautiful and iconic race car.

Formula One at Road America
Here is an onboard video from the 2012 KIC at Road America. The car is a
1997 Jordan with with a Judd engine instead of the Peugeot that it used in
the actual Grand Prix. This was our first weekend with with the car and
were astounded with the performance. There were a few bugs as expected but
we got everything worked out. In front of me is my dad running a Benetton
F1 from the same year, with the same engine. Keep in mind this is not a
professional event, nor am I a professional driver. The only goal was to
have fun and keep the car in once piece. Enjoy!

McLaren F1 GTR vs. CanAm rockets
Rennen "Trans-Atlantic Prototype Challenge" im Programm vom Spa Six Hours
2011. Ralf Kelleners im McLaren F1 GTR von 1997 steht zwar auf Pole
Position muß sich aber zunächst den CanAm Raketen der frühen Siebziger
Jahre wie dem McLaren M8F geschlagen geben. Es geht doch nichts über 8,8l
Hubraum. Das Rennen gewann Kelleners nach 14Runden mit 16Sekunden Vorsprung
vor dem McLaren M8F von Peter Hoffmann, dessen schnellste Rennrunde war nur
1,3Sekunden langsamer als die des F1GTR.
