Poik's Volvo 744 Turbo drag race 13.957 @ 101.16

Took my car to the track but only got one pass because the second pass I broke an axle on launch. This was at 15-16psi of Boost and just a quick little burnout to clean the tires off. After this run I turned the Boost up to ~20psi and did a better burnout. I was really hoping for a deep 13, so maybe next year I'll bring spare axles to the track... Overall I'm satisfied with the performance for this Boost level, but I really would have liked to have a clean pass at 20psi!

New camshaft idle open downpipe
Just a little video of my car idling with my new camshaft. Specs are 324º advertised duration, 106º LSA, 10.8mm lift. Also has a tube header that I made, Evo3 16g6 turbo with HRC 10cm turbine housing, and lots of other stuff.

Finally got a ton of issues worked out and got back to the track. Best Numbers for the night at 2.185 60foot to a 13.20@107.99mph. Not all that bad for only 20psi on a stock intake and cyl head. Also Proof that 7's are better than 2's. On the Green cars behalf 3rd gear is almost impossible to get into gear causing the what looked like slow car.

Jens Gustavsson, Umeå, Sweden, has an entirely homebuilt pushrod B20 turbo in his Volvo 140. It has produced 450 whp on pumpgas at 7500 rpm and 1,8 psi. 506 whp/567 Nm on racefuel at 6200 rpm and 2,2 psi. That's 595 crank hp/667 Nm, making it the worlds most powerful Volvo B20.
