Britt Casey, Jr.: Autobahn Country Club, Spec Miata Race 4/15/12 (Crash at the end)
First race of the 2012 season at the Autobahn Country Club, not exactly a good start. But another helpful experience that will help me in the long run. I started 20th out of 30 cars and was running 13th when the crash occurred. Now we know what me and the car are capable of and what I expect to do from now on. Please comment and write what you think should be improvements or your opinion on the crash.
Karting at Autobahn Country Club
Rented a two stroke racing kart at Autobahn Country Club. I'm in the black and yellow kart, instructor is in the blue and gray kart. The white kart is a 125cc two stroke.
Lexus LFA at Autobahn Country Club
I got a chance to go for a ride in the Lexus LFA (one of four in the world) and this is the video footage I took of the experience. It was at a private Lexus event at the Autobahn Country Club in Joilet, IL. The purpose of the event was to prepare dealerships in the mid-west for the production of the LFA, which is starting in December. I got an invite as a customer; a generous PR move by Lexus! I also got the chance to drive the ISF around the track for a while in the morning, which was also a great time.
