1990 Honda Crx Mini-Me Swap Engine Knock
Engine slowly starting knocking and now this is what it sounds like. Future plans: Full d16z6 built for Boost 8-12 psi. It will still be my DD when it's finished, not looking to make it spaceship fast.

I built this car just to see how well I can do body and paint. I did not care about the car and i'm not a ricer, I just wanted practice on body and paint. I'm to tall for a Honda anyway, but the build was fun. I spent $3500 total and that was for the car, body kit, rims, lights, paint and supplies. I sold the car for more than I spent on it and it sold in one day, I got calls from people offering me for more than it was worth lol.

My $500 Winter Beater -- The 1991 Honda CRX
I've done it! I've come across a car for $500 that runs and drives and is inspected, something that is hard to come by in climates where most older cars rust out.
This has been a fun little car, even at 223K it still has a lot of pep and is very nimble. It needs work, but nothing major at the present moment. I've got some junkyard parts I'm going to put in it to make sure it'll hold up before I sell it, I don't plan to ask for much more than I paid, hope you enjoy this introduction!
89 Honda CRX Si D16Y7 swap p1
Just some information about swapping a D16Y7 out of a late 90's Civic into my 89 CRX Si. Reused the original manifolds and transmission from the CRX, so didn't have too many complications.
