I bought the car with a Borla Exhaust and the original owner said he liked the sound of the stock better. The car has no mods other than the Exhaust. I know these are short test but it got the job done for me and I hope others. These are the before and after on the same day, with the same camera.
Traction control kicked in on the Borla, turned off for the stock run. Someone else was driving the car when I filmed it so they weren't used to the traction control in that car.
Overall I like the stock better but the Borla does have a really nice sound above the power band. The stock with flapper open, is great all the time. Decided for your self.

Forgotten Volkswagen Single Cab
Took the Syncro for a Sunday drive and spotted an old single cab in the
foothills outside Idaho Falls. This is nine hours worth of digging
condensed into a 15 minute video. It had been sitting in a wash since
1967. It was buried under two feet of dirt but it's extremely rust free
given the circumstances. The drop gates hadn't seen the light of day for
45 years. IF YOU HAVE A VOLKSWAGEN THAT NEEDS RESCUED OR KNOW OF ONE GIVE
US A CALL AT (208)200-6053. We also consign Volkswagens if you have one
you want to sell. Thanks Skeeters.
Thanks for all the phone calls and emails about Forgotten VW's that we have
received. This video has helped rescue several abandoned and otherwise
forgotten VW's that may have been left for dead including a very cool 1960
VW Double Cab that we got out of Missouri that had been sitting since 1965.
We also recently returned from Mission Viejo California where we picked up
a 1961 SO-23 Westfalia. This bus had been sitting since 1980. We got a
tip on that bus after someone saw the Forgotten Single Cab video. Give us
a call today if you know of one. Thanks again. Skeeters (208)200-6053

vw golf front bumper removal guide mk4
how to remove your mkiv golf front bumper. My car already has the plastic
wheel arch liners removed, so you will also need to undo those two or three
screws on the edge too. They are torx - not regular philips or crosshead
screws (so you need torx bits. I think 20 or 25 size).

The car is in "quiet" mode in the first half of the clip and in "loud" mode
in the second. The Exhaust sound isn't
as raspy in person as it sounds in the video. This is the stock Exhaust with the resonator removed and the
