Restoration Home - Big House - Episode Six

A somewhat grim and imposing house situated on the banks of the river Cleddau in Pembrokshire. The house is a true ruin with no windows, floors, roofing or anything! This is the sixth episode of BBC's Restoration Home, a brilliant program on the saving of 'At Risk' buildings with significant heritage. -I own nothing of the content of this film, it belongs to the BBC. I have uploaded this for education.

Hidden Homes Burglars Will NEVER FIND!
Subscribe to TheHub http://goo.gl/87YJzG For copyright matters please contact us at: david.f@valnetinc.com If you’ve ever moved house, you’ll know the strange feeling that comes from putting all of your stuff into a new room. Where does the cutlery go again? Which room do we store the board games in? Even sleeping in the same bed feels very different. But generally speaking, most homes look pretty similar on the outside. Sure, your new house might have an extra bedroom or a bigger garden, but it’ll probably just be the new location that gets to you the most. But what if you decided to take a huge jump and move into an entirely different home? One, perhaps, on the edge of a cliff, or in the middle of the ocean. Today, we’re showing you 10 houses that will make your move look incredibly ordinary in comparison. We’ll be showing you the likes of the Keldur house in Iceland, which is covered almost entirely in grass. We’ve got the Mirage House in Greece, which almost blends into the sea, the Ark hotel, which floats off of the coast of China, and Australia’s dangling cliff house, which will make you think twice about your fear of heights. Aside these, you’ll be learning about a famous British footballer’s Eco house, the most impressive – and secure – bunker in the entire world, and some which don’t even look like they’d be habitable. The best part about these houses is they’re almost all entirely hidden, so without our help, you’d probably never know about them at all.
