Ferrari Enzo part 1, night drive to the Col de Vence - evo diaries
Harry Metcalfe, from Evo magazine, recorded a video diary when he was lucky enough to drive Nick Mason's Enzo down to South of France. Sounds like a dream job, until you discover the Enzo wasn't ready to collect from Bob Houghton's workshop near Oxford in the UK until 3pm and the Enzo needed to be on location on the legendary Col de Vence, just above Nice, by 8am the next morning.
That's a drive of over 900 miles; here's how it happened.

The car is powered by a 4.7-litre V8 which enables it to reach over 180mph. Production of both the Competizione and the Spider, was limited to 500 units, with only 40 coming to the UK, therefore the Alfa 8C is a very rare piece of kit.
