Yeehaw! I love me some pickup truck racing! Especially when there are built motors and massive turbochargers involved. That brings us to the Cowboy Cadillac known as the Hay Hauler. We caught up with the Hauler at the Winter Meltdown No Prep event down in Texas at the Houston Raceway Park. Competing in multiple classes, the Hay Hauler will need to get out of the hole fast and finish strong with some serious speed through the trap. Roll racing is frowned upon by some. Usually those who haven’t tried it. My heart will always be in the dig, but there is something exhilarating about hitting the interstate for some high-speed shenanigans. Boosted vehicles are ideal for roll racing because they have ample opportunity to spool-up before the racing begins at 40, 50, or 60 mph.
