Lamborghini-LP570-4-Super-Trofeo-Stradale-Drag-RacingThis 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale set a new record for a stock Gallardo racing down the 1/4 mile running an impressive 11.1 @ 132 MPH.  To reduce aerodynamic drag the large Super Trofeo wing was removed which bumped up the trap speeds from 127 MPH to 132 MPH and dropped about 1/10 of the 1/4 mile ET.

The LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale was Lamborghini’s lightest Gallardo produced and weighed in at 3,348 pounds on the track scales even though Lamborghini quotes 2,950 pounds.   That puts the power to weight ratio at 5.8 pounds per HP for the STS, the same as the all new Huracan.

Check out the videos below, the first video is of the STS going against a tuned BMW M4 (never-mind the reaction time as the STS was trying a new LC technique)  and the 2nd is a heads up race with a Ferrari 599.
