Chief Dodge Viper Engineer Retiring

January 1st, 2008

Herb Helbig the Chief Dodge Viper development engineer is officially retiring this week. With this announcement rumors are running rampant around the net about the possible demise of the Dodge Viper with 2009 being the last year for the famous car that reignited the modern day muscle car era back in 1992. Could Herb’s retirement be an indicator that the Viper’s Research and Development team is being shutdown and the end of the Viper is drawing near? With Herb leaving the Viper’s future appears to be questionable.
