2011 Ford Mach 1 Mustang by Edmundo Cano
Few Mustang variants are as
legendary or desirable as the classic Mach 1. Introduced in 1969 as a
high-performance package to slot below the range-topping models from
Shelby, the Mach 1 was the every-man's Mustang, and after the pony car lost
its way in the late '70s, the Mach 1 wasn't seen again until 2003, when
Ford reintroduced the package as the top performing 'Stang this side of the
We already know there's no Mach 1 for the 2010 model year, but there's at
least a little speculation that the historic moniker could be revived for
2011, coinciding with the expected launch of Ford's latest 5.0-liter 400-horsepower Coyote V8
engine. What better excuse could there be for a performance edition?
Fortunately for us, Edmundo Cano put mouse to Photoshop and created an
enticing rendering of what a factory 2011 Mach 1 might look like.
We're particularly fond of the flat black paint running down the center of
the Mustang's hood, which
now features the obligatory shaker scoop. Similarly blacked-out 20-inch
Torq-Thrust-style wheels look the part, and the whole package is rounded
out with Hugger Orange paint and Mach 1 graphics package.
2015 Ford Mustang GT vs. 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS - Head 2 Head Ep. 58
On this episode of Head 2 Head, presented by Tire Rack, Carlos Lago pits
the Chevrolet Camaro SS
against the new Ford Mustang GT. Not only are both packing
around 430 horsepower, but they both
have the most aggressive handling packages available with their respective
performance packs. These cars have been going at it for longer than some of
you watching have been alive, and they've never been better. To find out
which is best, we'll run them through the full gamut of MT testing, a drive
on the road, and hot laps with Randy Pobst. Find out which one wins this
classic American rivalry!

New Ford Mustang Concept
I made this redesign on the base of the new GT500 KR. Inspiration was also
my 69er Mach 1 and the 67er Model. The Goal was to make the Mustang meaner, stronger and sharper
looking. Ready to compete with the upcomming Camaro :-)

Shelby GT500 Crushes Camaro SS! - Drag Race Showdown
When we first pitted the Camaro SS against the Mustang GT, Ford fans complained it
was an unfair race given the horsepower disparity. But
now Ford has tipped the scale way back in it's advantage with the top of
the line supercharged snake, the GT500. We head to the drag strip to see
how the underdog Chevy stacks up.
