This is a video review of the 2012 Genesis R-Spec.
The Genesis R-spec is the cheapest "luxury" full sizer you can buy, but, it's performance pales in comparison to the 300c SRT8 and Charger SRT8. However, with the ability to use regular unleaded and get over 18mpg combined, the less-expensive R-spec makes a compelling argument over buying the SRT8 model. Unfortunately, there isn't much here to justify buying an R-Spec over the 4.6-liter version of the Genesis.

long story short - the SRT8 is the better performer and the R-Spec is the better everyday driver's car.
While the Genesis costs $47,000, gets better fuel economy and will save you more over the term of ownership, the SRT8 justifies it's $55,000 price tag with more features and moar power!!!
