2015 GMC Yukon & Yukon XL SLE: Not for everyone...perfect for some! (Real world review)
A had the rare opportunity to drive and review both the standard Yukon as
well as the Yukon XL for several days. Long overdue for a refresh, the new
Yukons mark another step forward for GM in their quest for large SUV
dominance. The Yukon XL in particular is virtually unmatched by any other
automaker when it comes to downright size and capability. The question is,
just how good are these twins?
As always, this is an unscripted, amateur test drive and review from the
point of view of a consumer. I'll cover everything from style to ride to
space, with a strong emphasis on practicality and everyday use.

Dodge vs. GMC vs. Nissan at Spring Creek
Dodge, GMC, and Nissan compete on this small hill climb (100% grade) at
Spring Creek Off Road. very muddy and slick; who will make it up?
Dodge and GMC are on Nitto Terra Grapplers. Nissan is running Michelin LTX
A/T2. The Nittos on the Dodge are old and bald; the Nittos on the GMC are
nearly brand new.

2013 GMC Sierra Denali vs Ram 1500 Pickup 0-60 MPH Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 GMC Sierra Denali Crew Cab and the 2013
Ram Express Quad Cab 1500 are both three quarter ton pickups but that's
were the similarities end. These are two very different pickups that
compete for different buyers. The 2013 GMC Sierra Denali is the top of the
line in terms of price and luxury. It comes with almost every option as
standard including a heated steering wheel. And unlike the Ram 4X4, the
Denali has full time All-Wheel-drive. The Ram 1500 is all new for 2013.
While it still looks like the previous model it has been substantially
redesigned. Of course the question that we wanted to answer is which of
these two pickups is the fastest when it come to going 0-60 MPH?

2012 Chevrolet Suburban Test Drive & SUV Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/suburban-1500/2012/?id=32972 Want to
know the oldest nameplate in Automotive History? The Suburban has been
around since 1935 and over the years it has been billed as a carryall
vehicle. The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban is a full sized SUV that provides
seating for 7, a big V-8 engine, and a high tow payload capacity. This
full-size SUV is easy to drive with good acceleration, braking, and
handling abilities. The base price for a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban is $42,220
with the top of the line LTZ 4x4 costing $58,115.
On the outside the Suburban is known for its rugged good looks. Chevy added
some nice lines to break up the big boxy look. Up front the chrome grille
and big headlights look good. The 18-inch aluminum wheels look nice but you
can upgrade to 20-inch or 22-inch wheels. The interior of the Suburban is
very functional and you can upgrade to a higher trim level or add
additional packages to meet your level of luxury. The 2012 Chevrolet
Suburban can seat up to 8 or 9 passengers. There are modern conveniences
like a driver information center complete with large screen and navigation.
The seats are heated and cooled. There is also an nice DVD entertainment
system for both the 2nd and 3rd row of passengers.
The 2012 Chevy Suburban is motivated by a Vortec 5.3 liter V-8 engine that
makes 320 horsepower and 335 lb-ft. of
torque. The maximum towing capacity is 8100 lbs. There is a heavy duty
trailering package available for only $230 that adds an oil cooler for the
engine and an oil cooler for the transmission oil. The package also adds a
3.42 rear axle ratio. The Suburban has a couple of fuel saving techniques
that include an Active Fuel Management system which turns-off 4 cylinders
under light use. Fuel economy ratings check in at 15 MPG in the city and 22
MPG on the highway.
If you need a full-size SUV that can fit all your family and friends along
with your necessary luggage and can also tow your toys out back, the 2012
Chevrolet Suburban is for you.
