1972 Mercury montego GT
Our 72 Montego Gt thats awaiting restoration. This car was suppose to be the 72 cyclone spoiler GT but Mercury changed their minds and made it the Montego GT. Most came with bench seats and 302 small blocks. This one is rare with the hounds tooth bucket seat interior which is white with black carpet, console and rallye dash.It had the rare rim blow steering wheel which has long since disappeared a long time ago. Also this one has the rare 351 Cobra Jet Motor option. I cant find any info on the half white vinyl top. its the only one ive ever seen this way. There is not another one like this on the Montego Gt registry website. Its quite possible it might be one of one which would make it the only one with this vinyl top option. Please dont ask me if you can buy it. Its not for sale now or in the future.

1970 Mercury Cyclone Orng
Beautiful shape, and an arresting color! 429 c.i. engine and four speed manual...a real performance car. Mercury had such a history of performance..it is a shame to see it fade into history.

1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler 429 4sp
That is the original owner. Numero uno. He ordered the car from a local Mercury dealer in Maryland in 1970. The Kodak Playsport doesn't do the Exhaust justice.

1973 Mercury Montego MX
This Montego is FOR SALE (to help fund my Montego GT frame-off) See pics and info - Google Attitude Custom Painting I finished painting this in Jan 2013. Removed the hood, deck, all trim, bumpers, and doors. All panels were stripped and bodyworked (not much bodywork needed). Painted 2013 Toyota/Lexus Sunset Bronze Mica (runs $900+ a gallon). I also sent out the w/o and v-top mouldings and had all orig clearcoat removed. Then they were polished. New non-padded top. Sprayed the 1/4" stripe on the v-top moldings black bc/cc. The Montego has a 400 2v completely stock. The car runs and drives great. Currently has 95K miles Lots of Progress Pics at Attitude Custom Painting .com (remove spaces)

SOLD 1950 Mercury Coupe Hot Rod for sale by Corvette Mike Anaheim California 92807
1950 Mercury Custom Coupe Candy Apple Red w/White interior. If you get a bunch of gearheads in a room together and they get to talking about what the ultimate hot rod is, inevitably there will be three constants on the list; the '32 Ford Hi Boy Roadster, the '32 Ford 3 window coupe and the subject of this ad; the iconic '50 Merc coupe. The quintessential lead sled; the Merc defined the full bodied hot rod in the '50's. Its flowing lines were a vast canvas on which customizers could practice what was a fairly new art form back in the late '40's, early 50's. Chopped, channeled, frenched and decked. That's what you did if you wanted your Merc to stand out in a crowd! And the sled being offered here does that in spades! Designed to emulate customs made famous by legends like Sam and George Barris, Gene Winfield and many others, this rolling piece of art has all of the elements mentioned above, in addition to being wrapped in stunning Candy Apple Red paint, white tuck and roll interior with a multi-carb'd Flathead under the hood! Held in a vast private collection consisting of only the finest custom automobiles, the work was done by Steve's Auto Restorations using elements of Chevrolet, Pontiac, Cadillac, Olds & Kaiser. The hardtop body has no "B" pillar, the headlights have been "Frenched", hood corners have been rounded and of course it wouldn't be a '50's custom without Appleton spots! The interior features white "Tuck and Roll", laminated plastic knobs and a '57 Olds steering wheel, power steering, a hidden audio system and solenoid operated doors, windows and trunk The business end features a full dress Motorhead City 1950 Flathead engine featuring an Offenhauser intake and heads and three Stromberg '97 carbs. House of Color supplied the Candy Apple over Gold exterior and "Von Dutch" style pinstriping. Wides whites with full Cadillac wheel covers completes the deal! It's an investment grade custom that spells upside in it's fortunate new owners future. It was good enough for James Dean! Stk #N/A

1970 Mercury Cyclone GT 429 V8 4 BBL Start up and Walkaround
I thought you'd like a look at this very slick 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT. It's powered by it's original numbers matching 429 V8 4BBL, backed by a C6 Automatic trans. All that power is being sent to the always durable 9 inch rear. The car has been repainted and the engine and trans have been rebuilt as well. The interior is all original and still in great condition. I was amazed at how great it sounds as well, the engine is definitely plenty healthy. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching! A nice example! The same underpinnings were used in Torinos, Cougars and Mustangs of the era. A nice, luxurious car! Nice paint and interior! This one has the bonus of air conditioning!
