This is my 1970 Mercury montego MX. Just finished after 7 months of being redone. It has matching numbers 302 with an automatic transmission. It has 82,000 original mils on it. All original blue interior. Has American Racing torque thrust rims. The color is 1970 Ford Grabber Blue. Has a flat black hood and flat black rear tailight panel. Thanks for watching! :)

Mercury Cougar - American Muscle Car
An excellent TV show featuring the classic Mercury Cougar. They cover all the classic years, and talk about all the different engines and option packages you could get. Only a couple minor mistakes (they say the that XR-7 package included a 4-speed stick, then show an automatic shifter in one... derrr) but overall a very nice overview of these cars.
1968 Cougar 427 GT-E at Barrett-Jackson, Scottsdale 2011
This is the story of Brian Aust and his 1968 Mercury Cougar 427 GT-E. Over the course of about 5 years, he undertook a painstaking restoration to bring the car to the highest level he could, with a little help from his friends (and lots of advice from folks on http://www.mercurycougar.net ). On January 22, 2011, he drove it onto the auction block at Barrett-Jackson, stepped out, and watched it sell for... well, you'll just have to watch to find out!

Mercury Marauder DOOM and Friends Burnout

Magnaflow mufflers + 65 Ford Mustang
Magnaflow model 11124 mufflers on a 289 hipo Mustang. Stock 2" pipes, original H-pipe. Mufflers in 1st half are Maremount turbo II's. They were OK, but....The Magnaflows have a deeper sound and sound great inside the car too. No annoying drone like some other mufflers.
Compare at normal acceleration, moderate and then fairly hard. Was shifting about 5K.

1968 Mercury Montego Convertible
Sister car to the Ford Torino...but this has an identity all its own. Mercury was pretty good at establishing a difference with its stablemate. Lots of wood tone trim within the car, but the same beautiful, simple lines. The hood had a strategic power bulge in the middle...letting you know there's a V8 under the hood!
1970 Mercury Cyclone GT 351C Cruise
Here it is. I've worked out most of the issues on the car. This was basically a shake down cruise so no hot rodding. I gave it a little gas in places, but never more than half way.

It has a bone stock 351C 2V. the only mod being the Exhaust which is turbo mufflers that dump before the axle.
