1958 Plymouth Belvedere - Christine - Cruisin' in November
Some of my overseas friends really liked my last cruise videos, so here's a
longer one. This is me and Christine on a trip to Ulm a few weeks ago.
Nothing special, jump in and enjoy the ride.
If you're a fan of the movie "Christine" or 1957 / 58 Plymouths in general
don't forget to join the International Christine Club.

1965 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA - LARGE CARGO AREA AND REAR GLASS
BARRACUDA LOST ALL PLYMOUTH VALIANT BADGING THIS YEAR IN IT'S SECOND YEAR,
SO NOW THE 'CUDA WAS ON IT'S OWN. THE FOLD DOWN REAR SEATBACKS ALLOWED FOR
6 FOOT CARGO FLOOR. AND THEN THERE'S THE HUGE REAR WINDOW WHICH WAS A
FAVORITE AND NOTABLE DESIGN CUE. THERE IS A TRUNKLID, ALTHOUGH SMALL IN
SIZE, FOR ACCESS TO THAT SPACIOUS CARGO AREA. A DERIVATIVE OF THE
BARRACUDA IS THE FORMULA S PACKAGE WHICH INCLUDED A STRONG SUSPENSION,
WIDER WHEELS AND TIRES, A TACHOMETER WITHIN THE GAUGE CLUSTER, AND THE
COMMANDO 273 POWERPLANT. THIS ENGINE COULD SOAR 0 - 60 MPH IN 8 SECONDS.
A STANDARD ENGINE FOR THE COMMON CUDA WOULD BE AN L-HEAD 6, 225 CID, THAT
PRODUCED 145 HP, OR THE SAME 273 V-8 WITH 180 HP. CUDA'S SOLD 64,596 AND
COST $2,487 LIST PRICE. OVER 64 THOUSAND CUDA'S SOLD THIS SAME YEAR THAT
MustangS WERE SELLING LIKE
HOTCAKES. CHECK OUT THIS RUBY RED BARRACUDA WITH IT'S HUGE REAR WINDOW
AND CARGO AREA.
1965 Plymouth Belvedere Satellite Convertible Hurst Blu
An amazing survivor of the horsepower wars!
Performance 426 engines were retrofitted at the factory and gave anywhere
from 365 to 415 horsepower, depending on
configuration. Also available was the 426 hemi. This car is fitted with a
Hurst linkage, 4 speed manual. Everything about the car is great...a
testimony to Chrysler's history of performance cars!
