Dual Motor Electric Vehicle Drivetrain With Powerglide 2 Speed Transmission Walkthrough by EV West
Here's a brief 10 minute video that gives a nice overview of the EV West 2 speed Powerglide transmission that runs without a torque converter direct drive to 2 coupled Warp 11 motors. Depending on the voltage and current, these twin motors can put out well over 1000 lb/ft of torque, and 600+ horsepower. We used this motor and transmission combination to power our BMW M3 to the summit of Pikes Peak in 2012 setting an all time record for street legal electric cars. The strength and reliability of this system is key. For more information regarding this bolt in drive train, please visit http://evwest.com for the latest updates.

My 48 Volt Electric Motorcycle
This is an all electric motorcycle that I built in my garage in late 2008. The first eight months were spent researching components, saving money, planning the modifications, tearing down the original bike, and finally purchasing all of the parts. The build was completed over a 3 day period. -SPECIFICATIONS- Battery pack rating: 2.5 KW Top speed: 50 MPH Range: 25 miles -EQUIPMENT- 4x BB EB50-12 Batteries (50 amp-hour x 12 volts) Alltrax 4865 Motor Controller (max amperage output set to custom limit) Etek-R Brushed DC Electric Motor Allbright Contactor Magura 0-5k Potentiometer Throttle 25 Amp Quickcharge Charger

Diamondback Ebike with 500w cyclone motor part 1
Short Video showing off my newly completed Ebike conversion. running a cyclone style midmount motor (500W 24V) i am running on a NI-Mh battery pack @ 24V 18AH. i am also running a Cycle Analyst for instant readouts of the electrical system. top speed so far has been 60 km/h. Range on the current battery should be about 28km to 80% DOD (with moderate peddling). i will have a video of the bike being ridden up shortly. I have only been on one 13km test ride so far. 13km took 137 watt hrs (or 6.1AH) this battery is 432 watt hrs (or 18AH). i have changed the MTB type tyres to serfas drifter semi slicks for improved on road performance and lower rolling resistance. added a Delta Air Zound air horn (rated at 115Db) also added a cheap etrex GPS. The only things left for me to do are to change the rear gear set for a Nuvinci hub, and run a LiFeP04 battery pack. The LiFeP04 battery upgrade should happen very soon, then the true potential of this motor should be known. please watch parts 2 , 3 , and 4. thanks

Electric Scooter Motor Test
Typical 250 watt Chinese made scooter motor I took off an electric scooter that was junked. I'm testing this using a car battery charger with a capacitor in parallel to smooth the charger output. I may eventually use this on a homemade scooter or pocket-bike Maker: Unite Motor Co LTD Model MY1016 Permanent Magnet DC 24 vdc 14amp 250 watt 2500RPMs
