My throttle was messed up and would close itself off at full throttle I didn't get it working right till right before I left and my belts were all messed up. I got the throttle all fixed and was all ancy to try a top speed run and forgot the choke on halfway still got to 24mph so far. With new belts and my choke not on should do 30+mph

I only had enough time to swap out the turbo control and pre scroll / wg solenoids and got the engine bay all back together. tomorrow I just have to toss the finish off the midpipe and I can fire it up finally :)

Part 12: 13B Rotary Engine Rebuild - My 76 Mazda RX-5 Cosmo Restoration
Just as I promised last episode, it is finally time to build the engine! Part 12 of my RX-5 Cosmo restoration covers the entire process of building the 6 port 13B Mazda rotary engine. While this engine is a hybrid of GSL-SE RX-7 and Cosmo parts, the process is the same for any rotary from a 12A to a 13B NA, 13B turbo, 13B-REW or any other variant of the 13B. This video shows the whole process of the engine build, starting from measuring the rotors and covering everything else including clearancing the side seals, assembling the rotors, complete assembly the short block, setting the eccentric shaft end play and installing the front cover and everything underneath it. It's probably the most complete engine build video outside of what you can buy from the vendors, and as such, is an hour long. After this one, I'm going back to videos under 20 minutes. The final version including all the spoken texts was hurriedly finished overnight after some last minute unexpected changes by the customer and delivered 200km away from my offices in Germany for an exhibition. This meant that the 25 minute animation was not completed to my full satisfaction, nor was it in the quality desired by myself. The animation was in 768x576 pixels for showing on DVD.

rx8 13b engine swap single turbo
Im selling my 2005 Rx8. I have a million upgrade and parts into this car. It took me several months to built the car. The chasis has 54,000 miles and the new engine just has 9,800 miles. I have a 1999 big block 13b with cosmo intake. It has a custom made single turbo (Garret from Mike turbo) T67 with a .96. The engine is street ported fully rebuilt from scratch, every single part put into the car was brand new. There are not many of these cars with this swap in the world. I think this is one of the few that has AC and everything. It drives and sounds amazing. The complete set up is just perfect. Performance: The car made 519hp on 93 pump gas.
