RARE PERFECT CONDITION 1941 Buick Super 50 Phaeton 4 door Convertible FOR SALE
1941 Buick Super 50 Phaeton convertible sedan, the first opportunity in 70
years to own the #1 judged Buick in the world! It's believed to be the
first Phaeton built as well as 1 of only 467 U.S cars built that year, less
than 1% of the 377,428 cars Buick produced in '41! 5 year, no expense
spared, photo chronicled with 1600 photos, 1000's of receipts totaling a
documented $220,000! Restoration was done by the #1 Buick authority in the
world Bill Anderson and the entire process is authenticated by noted Buick
historian Terry Dunham. Judged one time, scoring a 394 points out of a
possible score of 400 (99%) by known authorities Buick club of America and
the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America). This Buick also garnered
both Gold and Senior AACA awards, almost unheard of for any automobile.
Talk about show detailed driveline components, painted grey for the first
production cars ( later they became red) Freshly rebuilt 248cid "fireball"

smooth 3 speed manual transmission, freshly rebuilt and detailed rear
differential. Original color coded wiring, still retaining the Generator
equipped electrical system, its engine compartment detailing is world
class. Mirror finished in its correct Carlsbad black paint, show waxed and
detailed, great looking red (pre distressed) leather interior with seating
for 6. Correct coded tan cloth Stafast convertible top w/ red piping. All
new triple plated chrome and polished stainless trim, restored and working
Tube type Sonomatic AM radio, working windshield wiper system, restored 3
spoke "Banjo" style steering wheel, great looking engine turned dash trim,

with two tiered shelving, houndstooth mat and original date coded 1940
spare tire! Color matched correct 16" wheels w/ pinstripes, wide whitewall

spectacular restoration in the world are still second to how this car feels
and the smiles it evokes when she rolls down the road. Great acceleration,
super tight chassis, rattle and squeak, its grace is recognized by every
passerby with a thumbs up. This is really the way to buy a collector car,
the restoration funded by someone else and then own it for just about half
price. These are considered the next "Duesenberg "in the terms of cars to
appreciate quickly, it was also the last 4 door convertible built by GM.
Also keep in mind that World War II was the next year and vehicle
production virtually ceased, again just another notch of rarity. Get
yourself not only a great investment, but a great car to show or just
1951 Buick Super 4 Door Sedan Gray
A very deluxe sedan...notice the carpets, the Dynaflow transmission, the
chome laden, symmetrical dash! Nothing too fancy in the interior, but
everything is of understated, quality materials. The motive power is of
course the overhead valve straight eight. You could always tell a Buick by
its Exhaust note! There was little
difference between the 51 and 52 Buick...slight trim differences.
1956 Buick Super SHOW CAR
If you're looking for a no expense spared, rotisserie built, air
conditioned show car, then this is it! This '56 Buick Super is powered by
383ci V8 and turbo 400 automatic
transmission. It sits on an Art Morrison front and rear clip. Complete with

upgraded with Vortec heads, a Demon carburetor, an Edelbrock intake
manifold, a billet serpentine belt system, chrome headers to custom 3 inch
dual Exhaust, MSD ignition, a huge
aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan, a Summit Racing starter, a
Holley fuel pump, an Optima red top battery, and chrome and billet
everything else! It's also equipped with power steering and Wilwood 4 wheel
power disc brakes! The interior features brand new upholstery, a billet
tilt steering column, Sunpro tach and Autometer gauges, and a Pioneer sound
system with MP3 playback and USB/AUX inputs! This custom interior and trunk

in a Cadillac Diamond White paint and it sits on a high dollar set of
Budnik wheels with Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires. (26x8x18 fronts and
deep dish 29x18x20 rears!) This car is fantastic from top to bottom. It has
gorgeous chrome, nice glass, and sits just right! Take your time to look
through all the pictures and video to soak in this masterpiece!
1947 Buick Super 4 door Sedan Blk
Just to show you that Buick had a very nice family sedan available post
war. Notice how nice the fabrics are, surely long wearing, and the
bilateral symmetry of the dash..notice the clustering on both sides of the
radio speaker. Notice also that the turn signal stalk is on the right side
of the steering column, next to the gearshift. The pedal operated parking
brake is interesting too, most parking/emergency brakes were of a pistol
grip type at this time. Dynaflow would not be available until the 1949
Buick - History Documentary (1995)
This video is a wonderfully-done documentary, written and produced by
Michael Rose, on the history of Buick as presented in 1995 from the History
Channel's archive. Here is Michael's description of the video verbatim:
"No one would have believed that the tinkering of a plumber would turn into
the foundation of the world's largest corporation. But it did. David Dunbar
Buick invented a process to adhere porcelain to tubs and other bathroom
fixtures. But the Scottish immigrant dreamed of making a mark out of the
bathroom, and set to work building a car. By 1900, he enlisted the aid of
another inventor, Walter Marr, and they built their first vehicle. Their
invention attracted the attention of one of Michigan's wealthiest men,
William Crapo Durant, the president of the world's largest buggy-building
business. As soon as he drove one of Buick's early creations, Durant
realized that the days of the horse and buggy were over. He teamed up with
Buick, and the two went on to make history. By the thirties, Buicks were
regarded as some of the finest cars ever made. From the first Buicks
through the birth of General Motors and into history, this is the
compelling story of the partnership that eventually became the basis for
the largest company in the world."
My cousin Frank Mouthaan's totall rebuild Buick GSX. Listen to the great
sound of a V8 engine making a burnout from 0-100mls in 10secs.!!!!
1947 Buick Super custom - Superliner
this car belongs to Dale Turner and it is the best custom I have seen in a

buick GS 455 stage 1 first startup on engine stand
This is the first startup of my 455 stage 1 after rebuild! It crashed few
months ago :((.
Exhausts on this teststand are the
stock cast headers. carb is a beautyfull barry grant 850 demon on an
edelbrock 455 performance intake. cam is a SP 1165R, 112LC. Later, we
replaced it with a stock GS cam for smoother running. TA 1.65 red roller
rockers. heads flowed and ported. SP/FM hypereutectic pistons. Kenne Bell
valve covers. they look kinda cool, don't they?
This should push around 390HP with the stock cam and around 430HP with the
SP cam! runs like a baby :). listen!
