London to Brighton Classic Car Run 2011
Greenwood Exhibitions 23rd London to Brighton Classic Car Run 2011.
Starting from the futuristic Mercedes-Benz World Museum at Brooklands in Surrey, over 200 classic and kit cars were waved off by British racing legend Sir Stirling Moss and enjoyed a leisurely sightseeing trip on their way to the seaside town of Brighton.
The run itself consists of two different routes: The Classic Car route for pre-1986 cars, and the Kit & Sports Car Route.
This video is an insight into the various types of cars and the sights along the way, such as Parham House and Gardens, and includes interviews with Sir Stirling Moss, entrants and organisers.

1969 L88 C3 Corvette Race Car at CSCC Spa 2012 Summer Classic
1969 L88 Corvette recently imported from States. Car was taken to Spa after extensive works without testing having been finished only the day before. For some reason the cars rev limiter developed a fault and was coming in at just below 6k ( note white corvette pull away on straight) , car was falling over in the corners ( dampers not working packed with bigger bump stops) and had to retire with oil surge after taking lead ( see oil light).
Despite all this, the car was quick....should fly when sorted.....cant wait!
