Matrix XR extended crank/hard start
After more than a year of trying to video the hard start issue, finally got it. Toyota says the extended crank/hard start issue does not exist. Toyota says it is normal, "all Corollas and Matrixs do this". If you have experienced this issue wtih your 2005-2008 Matrix or Corolla please contact Toyota and let them know. This is a hyperdrive event on the Summit main circuit. passing is allowed only with a signal from the guy being passed and only on the 2 longer straightaways. I'm not 100% sure whether the Impreza was a 2.5 RS or a WRX... I was paying attention to the track, not badges.
