Drag race: McLaren MP4-12C - Ferrari 458 - Porsche 997 Turbo
Here's an interesting drag race between the McLaren MP4-12C, Ferrari 458 Italia and Porsche 911 turbo. Hardly a definitive result, however, interesting to watch nonetheless. Most likely shot during the recent MP4-12C media event in Portimao, Portugal.
Just yesterday McLaren finally divulged the MP4-12C's specifications. With a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces a total of 600 PS (441 kW / 592 bhp) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque, the MP4-12C does the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 3.3 seconds (3.1 with special Corsa tires) and has a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) comes in at 9.1 seconds, 8.9 with the Corsa racing tires.

2010 Underground Racing Ferrari 458 Italia Twin Turbo
Underground Racing released the first images of their latest project: The Underground Racing Ferrari 458 Italia Twin turbo. The kit is still in development but an output of over 1.000hp is expected. Underground Racing praises Ferrari's job on the 458 platform and greatly enjoyed driving the stock Ferrari 458 Italia before taking it into their workshop for the development of their Twin turbo package.
The package developed includes a Twin turbo system with a stock engine as Stage 1. A custom built engine with Twin turbo system will be stage 2. As the car is still in the development stages performance figures are still unknown, but expect Lamborghini Twin turbo rivaling performance.

These are 2 of the Lamborghinis from Underground Racing at the Texas Mile in October 2010. There was another orange one but it was destroyed in a wreck Saturday morning. These cars were running between 230mph and 240mph.

This incredible vehicle came out to the St. Louis Motorsports Cars and Coffee this morning, and it is by far, the most insane car I have ever filmed. It is supposed to reach 255+ MPH on a standing mile. I have filmed a red Ferrari 458 Challenge revving, driving in the streets of Maranello and then being pushed to the limit at the Fiorano racetrack making some serious noise! Definitely a unique spot, this car is not even road legal!
