Thrash Battle! Van vs Wagon - Roadkill Episode 6
On this episode of Roadkill, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan go head-to
head in an epic driving competition that's really just an excuse for some
hilarious, needless car bashing. The victims are two parts cars for HOT ROD
magazine projects: a '90-something Dodge conversion van that will give up
its 360 V8 in the name of hot rodding and an '87 Buick wagon that was
intended as a chassis donor... but after this, maybe not. Let the battle
Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the new Motor Trend channel.

GMC Safari & Astro Van Review
This is a review of the GMC Safari or Chevrolet Astro Van. The Safari and
Astro vans are very similar General Motors vehicles, powered by the 4.3
liter V6 engine. These vans are big enough to hold a 4 x 8 sheet of
plywood, haul 8 passengers, or pull a 5,000 pound trailer. If you want to
buy a used GMC Safari Van or Chevrolet Astro Van, this video will answer
your questions. They are good vans. I love mine.
How To Replace ICM (Ignition Control Module) on GMC Safari & Astro Van
Here is how to replace the ICM - ignition control module on a GMC Safar or
Chevrolet Astro van. The ICM can wear out over time and cause misfires.
Sometimes the ICM is fine, but it overheats because there is not enough
grease under it to help it dissipate the extra heat. This video shows you
how to replace the ICM ignition control module on your GMC Safari or Astro
van. It's an easy job to do. The new ICM costs around $50.
2000 chevy astro A/C problem fix
this is how to fix the a/c problem is this style of van. the symptoms of
this problem are the air will only blow out of the defrost and floor,
which causes poor heating and cooling. with a little of your time, this is
a cheeap fix, less than $10.
2004 GMC Safari Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour
In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2004 GMC Safari. I take
viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this van while
showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues
to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start
it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of
this van designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the
How To Clean The EGR Valve On A GMC Safari Vortec V6 Engine
Here is how to clean the EGR (Exhaust
gas recirculation) valve on a GMC Safari Vortec V6 engine. If your engine
started running really rough all of a sudden, your EGR valve may be stuck
open. It's easy to remove and clean up. It is a good idea to install an
EGR valve gasket with a filter in it to prevent future carbon buildup.
Here is a link to a video I made showing the gasket:

How To Replace Power Steering Pump On GMC Safari Or Astro Van
Here is how to change the power steering pump on a GMC Safari or Chevrolet
Astro Van. Changing the power steering pump on your van is easy, but it is
also messy. To replace the power steering pump in your GMC Safari or Astro
Van, buy a replacement pump and borrow or rent a pulley puller from the
auto parts store. From there, disconnect the hoses and let the power
steering fluid drain, then remove the pulley from the front of the power
steering pump so you can get to the bolts, remove the pump from the van,
and replace any rubber hoses that need replacement. The fluid return hoses
are rubber, and the high-pressure hose is metal. Reattach the power
steering hoses. Then use the pulley puller to put the pulley back on the
power steering pump and reattach the drive belt. That's how to change the
power steering pump on a GMC Safari or Astro Van with a 4.3 liter V6
