Kait running a new personal best in the 4g63 Mighty Max during Import Wars at New England Dragway. As usual truck was going faster and faster and in true Team Low Boost fashion she had to turn the Boost down so she would not break out of the 11.5 index class. Team Low Boost Problems. Wikipedia doesn't have any info about it grouped with the Sonatas either. There is no question what this is, well illustrated in this video. I apologize for the length of this video, but a lot of ground is covered in a short time. Hopefully there's some information in here you may someday use. I'm just trying to expose it because there doesn't seem to be any real information floating around in the forums about this yet. The car is a first-generation 1999-2005 Kia Optima sedan. It has the EVO equivalent of a 4g64 2.4L. Before using any of these parts, do your research, cross-reference your parts and know what you're getting into. Using parts from this rotating assembly in a 2g Eclipse will require aftermarket rods and/or custom pistons. This is information for those who wish to frankenstein their builds, or save a buck... whichever.... either one of those requires skill.

Kait pilot's Kevin Jewer's 4g63 Mighty Max down the 1/4 mile. Kait's first pass of the night in the Mightymax at ~21 psi was an 11.5 at 121, crappy 2.0 60ft too, truck has an initial 0.75 second stumble still that needs to be worked out. This is the world's fastest Mighty Max,(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rRDuuuYGQY) nothing has changed except the Boost has been turned down and slowly increasing in order to get a better tune on it. 8.235 @ 159.97mph World's Quickest ECMLINK DSM Kevin Jewer's Rear Wheel Drive Eagle Talon runs a new best on his PTE 6766 turbo. After qualifying #2 in the Quick 16 at the 20th Annual DSM/EVO Shootout in Norwalk, OH Kevin had to drop out of the eliminations due to oil back up in an awkwardly routed return line (only way to fit around Exhaust manifold). Back in New England only a few days later and 700 more miles on the tow rig he brought the car up to his local track to run the number he knew it should. Although it is not what he wanted it was a new best. The engine cut out at 7.5 seconds into the run and he estimates if it was a clean run it would have been around 165mph.
