Golf mk1 2.0l 16v Turbo
This is a 1997 Golf 1 Chico that has now been converted to 2.0l 16v turbo. The motor has been built to handle at most 1.6bar Boost and make power at around the 250fwkw range. The sub assembly is 2E with some custom proprietary work and the cylinder head is 2.0l 16v with mild work. The setup is very popular among VW owners in SA and there have been many variations over the years, this is designed to be a fast street car. Boost pipes are powder coated and the intake manifold is powdercoated in a hammer tone finish, nice and elegant.
