Inline Four - Precision Engine Balancing
Precision Engine Balancing is something often overlooked, especially by "backyard" or "inexperienced" engine builders. This video showcases not only engine balancing of a Honda 4 cyl. rotating assembly, but at the precise specification that Inline Four holds its engine building standards to. After watching this video, you will not look at engine building the same and will want the best for your engine. "Do it right, or don't do it at all!" =Brandon...out!

This is part 1 of the 22RE engine rebuild. At this point, most everything has been removed that is going to be replaced; what's going on is a race ported and polished head w/ 280/440 cam, 70lb valvesprings, titanium valvespring retainers, 1mm OS Ferrea valves, matched and flowed injectors, and new rocker assemblies, HD timing chain kit and a whole bunch of red and silver powdercoated top-end goodies. Props to 22reperformance.com for providing top-notch products and customer service.

Toyota Hilux 22R Engine performance rebuild in Australia
I decided to rebuild My Hilux engine as the one in it is losing oil pressure. Since I was going to do it myself I thought I might as well try and get more performance out of it in the process. As all I got from machine shops was dumb looks when they found I was building something other than a V8 I thought I might as well share what I've learnt. I already know an engine swap would have given more power for similar money spent. I didn't go the engine swap route b/c I didn't want the headaches of making everything fit and then the endless hassles with getting it all approved. Pistons, cam, timing kit, over size valve kit and head bolt kit came from engbldr.com Adjustable timing gear came from LC Engineering All other parts came from Australian suppliers.
