Description is in French and English. J'ai adapté un compteur électronique de Lancia Dedra 2000 turbo de 93 (BORG Instrument) sur une Lancia dedra TD LS de 97. Remarquez que le témoin des bougies de préchauffages et celui de la présence d'eau dans le gazoil ont été remplacées par ceux du siège chauffant droit et gauche ;-) Le capteur de température extérieur n'a pas été connecté encore, d'où l'indication -40°C. The main challenge was to adapt the instrument originally designed for fuel engine to diesel engine. Thus, the diesel preheating light and the water detection light have been replaced by the right and left heating seat light. The electronic RPM meter has also been modified to work with the diesel engine. The temperature meter provided with this instrument has not been connected yet to the external temperature sensor, it's the reason why it always displays -40°C. Waking the Dedra
In late 2011 I found this 1991 Lancia Dedra 2.0 turbo in a barn, where it had stood untouched since the mid-2000s. I eventually traced the owner and bought it. This is the (very) summarised story of how I unseized it. It's now heading off for recommissioning and restoration. Birth of a Lancia Thema 8 32 SW
In this movie you can witness the birth of a Lancia Thema 8.32 SW. This model was once made as a gift for Agnelli (director at Fiat group). He received a series 1 Lancia Thema 8.32 SW. I made the second car in the world. It's made from a second series Thema 8.32 and a first series Sw body. The building of this car is described on www.weblogs.lanciathema.nl and this movie gives one a brief summery. The building of the car took about 2,5 years. It's maiden trip was 1 day after the car passed it's MOT and went to Italy. In one week me and my friend Ewoud drove about 4000 kms in the car wihtout any significant problems. Now I'm contemplating an installation of an Alfa 166 gearbox with Torssen differential. Check my weblog for updates!

In the first track session the car has had some serious problems such as the rupture in 3 pieces of one of the rear disc brakes! The car came in the paddock and rear discs were taken off so in the video you see the car that braked only with the front system. To better slide into and out of the corners the team put additional spacers to the wheels which rests tyres against the wheel arches, the probable cause of the white smoke that you see coming from the back. Remains the spectacle of its violent acceleration, great fun to see the Delta turn and overtake easily all cars! Durante la prima edizione 2015 del Varano Rally Krono è tornata in pista la mitica Deltona dei ragazzi della Drago Motorsposrt. La vettura pesantemente modificata è accreditata di circa 500 CV ed anche in questa sessione di prove in pista hanno avuto alcuni seri inconvenienti come la rottura in 3 pezzi di uno dei freni a disco posteriori! L'auto è rientrata e sono stati tolti quindi i dischi al posteriore e nel video che vedete l'auto frenava solo con l'impianto all'avantreno. Per farla scivolare meglio in entrata ed uscita dalle curve sono stati messi ulteriori distanziali alle ruote le quali in appoggio strisciavano contro i passaruota, la probabile causa del fumo bianco che vedete provenire dal retro vettura. Resta la spettacolarità delle sue violente accelerazioni, grande divertimento vederla girare e passare agilmente tutte le auto in pista!
