The truck was the victim of a flying brick attack at some point in its abandoned life and requires substantial straightening, on top of substaintial rust repair
Other things to look for are the new firewall, floors and the work in progress drip-rail shave!

1956 Chevy 3200 Restoration
Over the past 3 & 1/2 years, My dad, Brother & I have restored a 1956
Chevrolet 3200 Longbox. The engine is a 1969 Camaro 350 V8 Small Block.
Transmission is a 2 Speed Powerglide Automatic. There's a 3/4 Racing
CompCam, Holley 4 barrel. The front end is from a 84 Buick Lasabre. The
Body is ALL original...

Rods R Us 56 chevy truck update video #2
Heres an update video of where we are on the blown 56 chevy truck, we got
it mocked up pretty good today. things to look for:
-new custom recessed firewall
-doors cut to a perfect gap
-door corners rounded and gapped
-drip rails shaved
-various rust and dent repair
-bed welded up and ends capped, plus rounded back corners
-rear fenders spaced out to show how much we will be extending them
-tubs cut and tacked in
-tailgate flushed and "picture framed"
Oh and check out the paint plaque... cat out of the bag on that one. Chrome

Blown 1956 Chevy update! Rods R Us
Chiseling away on the next 1956 truck build, things to check out in the
-Rear fenders are widened, check out how we modify the step to flow into
the new fender profile, and bring down the bed-stake to meet the step
[later you can see the driver side which is unmodified]
-Inner fender panels shaped around the A-arms and lip added to keep a
-Steering column hole and brace added in firewall
-Dash all welded in and smoothed, dash extension added tob ottom...sorry

My 1955 GMC truck... work in progress
1955 GMC Stepside frame modified with Camaro front clip and rear axle
flip about 8" lower than stock,
350hp 5.7L w/ turbo 400, 4 corner disc
brakes, fuel cell and a ton of other mods.
Truck is/ will be a full frame off resto-mod that I've only been working on
for about 9 months.
cab, box and the rest of the body is about 90% done and is about 1 month
from going out to body prep and paint.
This is my first upload so I guess I'll have to add or modify it when I
have time to play with it or have more video to add.
