2006 STi Rallispec Block, 20G turbo, Perrin FMIC, TXS turboback

TPG/J&S Subaru Dyno day Saturday February 12, 2011: My 2006 Subaru STi on one of the earlier pulls making 300hp at the wheels. On this Dyno, it was quite impressive. ended up doing 323hp/338tq at the wheels. Compared to a Stage 2 protuned 2011 Sti, which made 215hp/216tq at the wheels - I'd say my car makes some serious power. Tuned by Nate Silveri Mods: Rallispec Street Spec built short block (Cosworth Forged Pistons, Manley H-Beam rods, ACL Race bearings, ARP headstuds) FP 20g 8cm^2 turbo rebuilt by Blouch Perrin FMIC Perrin Big MAF intake Maddad headers/uppipe turboXS turboback w/ 4" bellmouth opening DW740cc injectors turbosmart Recirc/BOV TGV deletes Exedy Stage 1 clutch, ACT Streetlite flywheel Running Brad Penn 0w-30 Racing oil for the winter. Car is also on Dunlop Wintersport 3D tires :D

Forced Performance 502 WHP WRX stock location FP-Black turbo
Yet another 500+ WHP Subaru from PREracing (and for some reason this one is black too) A little history: If you know Subaru's you know that they are highly resistant to making power above the 400whp mark. Most people run a rotated setup with a massive turbo to even have a glimmer of hope at achieving 500+ whp. Well, Forced Performance turbochargers has introduced the FP-Black which is a hybrid GT35R turbine and custom FP 82HTA billet compressor and ball bearing center that somehow fits in the stock Subaru turbo location. At first we were skeptical of this turbochargers advertised potential but we are now believers! With pump-gas and methanol at 26psi tapering to 24psi we made an astounding 502awhp; something that in thousands of Subaru's on our Dyno we had never seen out of stock location turbo. We can only imagine what this turbo could do with even more Boost and higher octane race fuel or ethanol. Built 2.5L WRX - FMIC Test
Just making sure everything is in order before the bumper goes on for the last time for a while. The lower cold side pipes will be painted black to match the other side and the core will be getting the same treatment. But for now, it's running, and I'm going to give it a couple days first to double check that everything was done correctly.
