2006 STi Rallispec Block, 20G turbo, Perrin FMIC, TXS turboback

TPG/J&S Subaru Dyno day Saturday February 12, 2011: My 2006 Subaru STi on one of the earlier pulls making 300hp at the wheels. On this Dyno, it was quite impressive. ended up doing 323hp/338tq at the wheels. Compared to a Stage 2 protuned 2011 Sti, which made 215hp/216tq at the wheels - I'd say my car makes some serious power. Tuned by Nate Silveri Mods: Rallispec Street Spec built short block (Cosworth Forged Pistons, Manley H-Beam rods, ACL Race bearings, ARP headstuds) FP 20g 8cm^2 turbo rebuilt by Blouch Perrin FMIC Perrin Big MAF intake Maddad headers/uppipe turboXS turboback w/ 4" bellmouth opening DW740cc injectors turbosmart Recirc/BOV TGV deletes Exedy Stage 1 clutch, ACT Streetlite flywheel Running Brad Penn 0w-30 Racing oil for the winter. Car is also on Dunlop Wintersport 3D tires :D

Subaru R-STi - JDM vs USDM: A Friendly Rivalry -- /TUNED
In the US, we never got the best Subaru of them all, the first generation WRX coupe, getting stuck with the fun-but-not-fast 2.5RS version. One of the more popular upgrades for those cars is the "R-STi" drivetrain swap. In the season premiere of Tuned, we look at two approaches: the USDM drivetrain swap, and the JDM drivetrain swap. Which is better? You decide.

2015 Subaru WRX STI: The Daily Driver Rally Car Returns! - Ignition Ep. 107
On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago tests the latest generation of the perennial rally car favorite: The 2015 Subaru WRX STI. Much like the new WRX, this STI has an entirely new and significantly stiffer body structure, but unlike the WRX, it still uses the same 305 horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four that's powered the car since 2008. Our introduction to the car occurs at the press launch at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. From there, we test the STI to see the performance improvements and drive it on one of our favorite mountain roads. How does the new STI stack up? Stay tuned to find out. 2015 Subaru WRX vs 2014 Ford Focus ST! Head 2 Head Ep. 50
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman gets his hands on the all-new, 2015 Subaru WRX, as well as one of Motor Trend's favorite pocket rockets, the Ford Focus ST. Each car costs about $30,000, sports a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with similar power outputs, and features a 6-speed manual transmission. The Subaru of course features a sporty version of the brand's "symmetrical AWD" while the Focus makes due with just the front wheels driven. However, since it first appeared, the Focus ST has wowed the Motor Trend staff with ability to dance around corners and, generally, not drive and feel like a front-wheel driver. We like the Focus ST so much that we invited it to last year's Best Driver's Car. But does the Ford have what it takes to beat the latest street-tamed rally baby from Subaru? You're going to have to watch and find out. Another fast Cosworth powered STI
What a week at Dyno Flash. Our customer's 600 whp pump gas STI with Cosworth engine nears completion. We chat up a young lass who gets turned on by fast cars. We witness some gang thugs acting stupid. We remove an exede from an Evo and reflash the ecu. Finally we road test the STI.
