A montage of my 1999 season at Lydden racing a 2.6 litre dry-sumped works DTV Lotus Chevette. Approx 260bhp, 820kgs. There are three classes in each race, hence the slower, lower-spec cars out there with us. I finished second in the championship.

Lydden Final - Multiple crashes
Sunday's Lydden Final was pretty much a disaster. I get tangled up in a fairly large startline shunt. With a bit of help from Richard Kingsnorth (who went out avoiding the shunt, my dad and Dave Wright), I manage to make the restart - minus all of my front end panels. The 2nd restart is equally as bad, I get helped into a half spin at the first corner, from in front and behind - and then hit in the rear...... The old crate holds together and we make the chequered flag. One interesting 'moment' on the track ahead of me - quite a 'have that' moment....
