Less than 20,000 of these cars were built and this one has been restored to its original glory. Under the hood, rests the 287 CID V8 rated at 180 horsepower and 264 feet of torque, known as the "Strato Streak". This was Pontiac's first OHV engine design. These cars have a ton of character, style, and class and really stand out in a crowd. 1955 Pontiac Star Chief Catalina
Beautiful car that was up for auction at Zephyrhills. This was probably
the most popular two tone color combination for Pontiac that year...and a
favorite of mine! Notice Chief Pontiac hood ornament..and the silver
streak chrome! A great car!!
1955 Pontiac Star Chief Catalina Super Deluxe
TOP OF THE LINE Pontiac of this body style and year!! Now this Pontiac is
the most beautiful and pristine classic CAR!. The body is perfect, the
paint is perfect, interior is perfect, and I...
1964 Pontiac Parisienne
My 1964 Pontiac Parisienne.
Since this video I have 2 new air filters, new valve covers, fan and fan
Its got a numbers matching 283ci V8 with an Aluminum powerglide. The
odometer says it has 03062.0miles on it...but I know its wrapped atleast
once so it could have either 103062miles, 203062miles or possibly even
303062. But for it being a 45 year old motor that has sat there for 9 years
I think it runs pretty good. My video shows this later on.
It was T-Boned 9 years ago on the passenger side so its not the original
door. I am currently rebuilding the firewall and the floor panel.
The interior (other than the carpet and dash) is good. The door panels are
in storage right now. The headliner and seats are mint!
My plans for the car are/were to shave the doorhandles and gasflap. And
also add lake pipes to the cutouts.
The emblem on the back proves that this car was bought here in Alberta,
Canada at the Calgary Stampede Buick Pontiac. I have paperwork to prove
this. I also have the origial numbers matching owners manual (the vin is on
the cover) and the original hubcaps.
Not a lot of people know what Parisiennes are because they are Canadian.
(Same with the Beaumont, which you can see 2 of in the background at the
start of this video. A black 69 and a white 67)
Oh, and this car is old enough that it was made when Canadas speed limits
were still in miles per hour. So my speedometer only has miles per hour on
This is a boat of a car. It is just under 18 feet long and the trunk alone
is 5 feet 7 inches deep!
These cars were so neat in so many ways. For example, The frame is an
X-frame, which for you not-so-car-guys...it means the frame is actually
shaped like an X and the 2 frame rails come together under the cab. Another
thing that I love about these cars that you just cant find in todays cars
is the amout of crome edging around everywhere (Mine by the way is in
And also cars today arent built with the same care and design as this era
of cars. Look at the gorgeous lines on top of the fenders and how the rear
quarter panels flare out. Also these cars are safer and build stronger. I
dont care what scientists say. The car that T-boned this wasa Dodge Neon.
The Neon was totalled! It had nothing left of its front end and was
scattered all over the road. Where as this car was DRIVEN home after the
I do not know the exact value of the car, but I do know that they are kinda

1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt and 1955 Falcon
We watch a 1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt raise and lower its retractable hard
top then watch a 1955 Chrysler Falcon drive by. It's recorded to a
defective piece of videotape . Damn!
1955 PONTIAC WAGON - RUNNING, NOT RESTORED
It's always a pleasure to see a vintage vehicle running and roadworthy but
yet not altogether restored. Pontiac wagons this year came in a Chieftain
or Star Chief model. Those wagons were...
1955 Pontiac Starchief Convertible RedWht
A beautiful example...Lucy and Desi would be happy to drive this car
anywhere, as they did in several episodes of "I Love Lucy". Not the actual
car of the series, but it could have been!...
