57 Chevy 2DHT 283 engine first start-up
First start-up of 57 Chevy 2DHT 283 engine.
Originally bought, with 2-speed Powerglide, in the late 80s out of a 56 Chevy that had recently been imported to Australia.
The 'greaseball' was re-built by Bruce, completed and detailed by Des, and set-up for first start-up by Trevor (Frosty) for owner John (also Frosty). Big thanks to all who contributed.
The car is a Bel Air Sports Coupe (2-door hard top) being restored as a right-hand drive vehicle to factory specifications with Power Pack optioned motor -- which includes Carter 4-barrel carburetor, dual Exhaust and high performance heads.
