Monash Motorsport FSAE M11 - First Flight
The first drive of Monash Motorsport's 2011 car with WINGS. The track was quite bumpy, and the balance was quite off at the start of the day, but the car got progressively quicker as we tuned out some of the issues. Some interesting footage of the car at 0.5x speed as the camera was filming at 60fps compared to the rest which is at 1.0x speed 30fps.
Larger radius: 10m
Smaller radius: 5m
Slalom was a 7m slalom (except the final GoPro footage which was a 6m slalom)
Max speed: 75kph
Min speed: 30kph
Average speed: 45kph
Speed through slaloms is roughly 5-8kph faster through the 7m slaloms with wings, compared to no wings.

Mt Leura Hillclimb 4WD Chev Datsun V8 260Z
I have managed to get my hands of some in-car vids from a modified 4WD Datsun V8 260Z during the Mt Leura Hillclimb 2008. Recorded time for this race was 29.34s.

Scott attacks Martin Groves 35.95 second record that was set in the 1st run off. 3500cc of Nicholson McLaren engine in a Gould GR61X chassis.

QUT Motorsport - Mt Cotton Hill Climb - Jack Bellotti 43.51
Car was run in full F-SAE competition trim with 20mm intake restrictor installed.
Driver is Jack Bellotti, 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student.

Monash Motorsport, M11 suspension tuning 3/9/2011
Continuing the non-winged tune of the M11. Today was about getting the balance right on Goodyears and with changed roll centres. We then played around with dampers for a bit, before we started getting too much grip and almost rolling the car at 3:05!
