UPDATE: I replaced my fuel pump and the problem got a little better then i replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor and the car runs great now. THESE CARS ARE KNOWN TO HAVE WEAK MAF SENSORS, SO IF YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM I WOULD SUGGEST TRYING TO REPLACE THE MAF SENSOR FIRST.

Nissan MAF Repair by Rob Fleming

leading to random/intermittent problems. Stalling, bucking, poor gas
mileage, and power loss can sometimes be attributed to this problem.
Auto Repair : How Do You Clean or Check a Mass Air Flow Sensor?
A mass air-flow sensor is used on fuel-injected vehicles to tell the
computer how much air is going into the engine. Discover why a mass air
flow sensor must be removed in order to be checked with help from an auto
mechanic in this free video on auto parts.

1999 Nissan Maxima SE idle problem
After the engine warms up, the car's computer lowers the rev's. When this
happens, the car starts to "bounce" around 600rpm. It causes vibration and
could become a big problem in the future. If anyone can help me diagnose my
car, I will be very much obliged. Also, there is no check engine light on,
so I can't diagnose that way.

I enjoy the process of testing theory because you always learn something
new, regardless of the outcome.
Using a spark plug defouler kit, I install a "buffer" in between the
downstream oxygen sensor and the catalytic converter. Quite often,
frustrated car owners get the P0420 code for reasons other than a bad cat.
I have heard of people getting the code just because they removed the
converter and reinstalled it. It can also happen if you run your vehicle
out of gas etc... etc...
It is also common for car owners to get the P0420 code, replace the
converter, and both o2 sensors-- only to have the code come back after 1000
miles or so. This can be a very frustrating, time consuming and of
course-- expensive venture. Here is one way to resolve the issue. Good
luck and have fun!
WTF is wrong with my car?!
Okay, I drive a 2000 Nissan Sentra, manual.
Its been doing this shakey-idle-start thing for about 2 weeks now.
Everytime I turn it on.
Usually it does it for 1-2 minutes.
In the vid, my hand is not shaking. The camera is attached to the steering
wheel. Thats the car.
And you can hear me hard-pumping the gas for part of it too.
