This movie has a bit of a sad ending. Bye bye B18c-R.
Thats ok though, chapter 2 shows the re-power with a JE/Eagle forged B18c and a bit more Boost + methanol :)

JRSC ITR Build up - Chapter 2 - The rebuild
This clip shows the rebuild I did on my supercharged DC2 SiR after I blew it up at the drags holding a burnout for a bit longer than I should have.
Now it's stronger than ever with a forged B18c with Eagle rods and JE pistons.
I have added a methanol kit to drop the intake temps but I am yet to Dyno the car with the finalised meth system.
The first attempt is documented in this video but it was unsuccessful due to a poor decision on injector placement.

Supercharged home made Straight Eight by Desperate Dan Vid 2
Built in a shed, it fired up first go. I was hoping it would sound real lumpy like a drag engine, but it runs too smooth, and it's too quiet even with unsilenced 9" pipes! The timing was a pain to sort out the Rover distributor runs backwards, I had to take the heads off to work out the firing order!!! See the shed it was built in on Vid 1.
Added May 2012: OK, my nails are dirty, maybe because I'm an engineer & build stuff? Maybe your nails are clean because you can't build eff-all & just sit behind your computer? C'mon folk, get a life.

GSR B18c TWM ITB First Start Up
TWM ITB's, swapped them in without have to modifying much of anything expect for the fuel lines. Each runner already had its own vaccum line that i used for the map sensor, temp sensor, brake Booster and PVC.

Car was estimated at 190whp@6800rpm at 6psi street tune 9.0:1 compression 0.48 a/r t3/t4 turbonetics turbo.
Coming next year: Eagle rods(new redline 8200rpm) + Wiseco pistons (upping Boost to 14psi), bigger turbo + injectors, Dyno tune + more. Estimated 350whp+
