HZ Kingswood Chev 350 2011 Accidental Burnout
This is my cars first day on the road after I first put in my new engine.
SBC/Chev 350cu with Supra 5 speed on the floor into a HZ Holden.
I puttered around the block in the first test drive. Then the mechanic who
shall remain anonymous got in to check the thermo fans were adequately
cooling...and this happened. He said "Sorry I didn't mean it" afterwards. I
believe him too, the commotion you can hear after me laughing like a fool
is his employee mechanics all shouting "whats going on" as thats not the
sort of thing he usually does.
Anyway...I love the car, love the Exhaust note, love the engine. Out on the open
road, it flies.

suspension and gearing changes before more power is utilised.

NZV8 TV S3 Episode 5 - Powercruise, Holden HQ Kingswood, GP Hydroplaning - Part 1
On this week's show, we get down to the huge Powercruise event held
recently at the Taupo Motorsport Park. We have full coverage of the
Powerskids and all the Off Street Racing. It was an awesome event and it's
no suprise that's where we found this week's feature car -- a supercharged
Holden HQ Kingswood that had no issue turning rubber into smoke. After all
the excitement of Powercruise we needed to relax by the water so we caught
up with Australasian GP Hydroplaning champion Graeme Weller as he attempts
to set the World GP Hydroplane Speed Record.
